So glad to be back! The process of purchasing and setting up a new computer is finished. Bugs show up here and there as I try programs on the new machine, but I am hoping I can write this long neglected post with ease!
Some folks of the male persuasion find a woman's bag scary. So to calm the fears I will reveal the contents of my bag!
Wallet
Keys
Electronic Prius key (very cool!)
Cosmetic pouch
Check book
Date book
Crossword puzzle
Pens and pencils
Okay, the whole truth. This is the stuff that takes up space and is not too grungy. Left out are assorted receipts that got stuffed in hopes that the bill would get lost; wrappers from energy bars, but only the protein balanced organic kinds and some chocolate bars, maybe; tissues (don't even ask about their condition, but they can be re-used in an emergency), loose change but no quarters, safety pins, earrings that have been "lost" for a while, but are never in the bag when I rush out of the house without a scrap of sparkle on. This stuff could possibly be scary...
The point of the pictures is to show the difference in capacity between a small and a medium Origami bag with zip pouch. I took them when making a bag for my dear friend Ann. I wanted to be sure I got it right, thus the pictures.
Here is my small Origami with zip with my stuff in it. It is a real squeeze, but I love the fabric and that was all I had.
The binder is standard size so she and you can see how big the bag is. Aren't the bright colored geishas sweet?
Here is Ann's bag... and filled with the stuff from my bag.
Ann's bag is softer colors so it will go further in professional settings. Lucky me. I live where formal wear is usually my best jeans and I get to play the artistic type in my real life!
Here is Ann's bag hanging next to a wonderful portrait of local artist Jack Price grandparents.

More to follow...now that I can process pictures and stay on the web long enough to post.
Namaste, Wyncia
